I made “soldier cookies,” a Garment family Christmas tree night tradition!

img_4021We also went out to dinner for Mike’s birthday on Saturday. He’s 23!

Then, on Saturday, we went into Downtown DC with Mike Walsh and Heather Stewart.

…aaaaand….

it snowed!!!

Walsh: “Oh, c’mon, it’s not that cold outside”

{we all walk outside and it’s snowing}

Laura: “So there”

I love having another photographer (Heather) with us… because she shoots photos of Mike and me in thought…

    Oooo! I love snow. We had a few bits of snow fall here today. Jaan said, “In Russia we used to have snowFLAKES, like the pretty paper ones we make. Not these round things.”

    Snow, just the way I like it . . . at someone ELSE’S house!

    Definitely need to get to DC! (In the summer or spring, of course.)

    LOVE the photos! They make me really excited to visit you guys. That black and white photo looks right out of an artsy publication–so, toot your own horn, lady! 🙂

    p.s. The first pic with Bailey’s gigantic eye is hilarious. I captioned it: “A Cyclops Christmas”
