Pictures!

Our camera cable was lost for a while, so this blog will be picture-heavy as I try to catch up!!

About a month ago, we went to Costa Rica for a mid-winter tropical getaway. It was perfect! Hot, bright, windy days laying by a crystal clear blue infinity pool… ahhh. Until the parasite hit. That part was no fun, but it was at the end, so it could have been worse. ๐Ÿ™‚

This is our first day there. We wandered the pool area before sunset.

This is at a place down the beach from our hotel. We walked about 45 minutes down the beach to find it. It had hammocks all over the place, with great views of the sunset.

We took a boat tour that lasted all afternoon. It included a full bar (ginger ale for me), appetizers, snorkeling, sea kayaking, a sunset view, and t-shirts at the end. This is when we first got on the boat – I was grabbing the side rails so hard because I was afraid I was going to feel seasick any moment. I never did, though! It was the first time I went snorkeling, and it was AWESOME!

Then we got back in town, and a week later were slammed by not one, but two blizzards! Check out the not-so-sunny weather photos below:

Bailey went flying through the snow. We unleashed him, and he was in heaven!

The snow was up to my knees here. Then, 3 days later we got MORE snow, breaking all DC metro area records!

The plows came through, finally, and piled the snow in the middle of the fork in our street. That’s a two-story house behind our snow mountain!

    Loved the photos! Precious!

The bride obviously hasn’t read your blog. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Can’t wait to hear who it is . . . unless you’re keeping that info to yourself?
